Warehouse digitalisation and lean manufacturing

In our Belgian production unit, digitising our warehouse and implementing lean manufacturing principles have lightened employee workloads, improved productivity, and enhanced workplace conditions. We also prioritise employee safety on the road with comprehensive bike and car policies, including maintenance and safety measures.

Social employment initiatives

At Delta water softeners we associate with De Brug in Mortsel, Belgium, a non-profit sheltered workshop where our products are assembled by a workforce of 320 individuals facing difficulties in finding employment in the regular job market. By offering meaningful work, De Brug not only provides a source of income but also fosters a sense of purpose, dignity, and inclusion for Delta’s employees, positively impacting both the individuals and the local community.

100+ participants with 20% of them from the executive management, and remaining participants from sales executives, technical engineers, logistic and IT employees were trained on technical, business and organisational topics.
