Concrete Actions for a Sustainable Future: Hemotech & Hema T. Medical

At Hemotech & Hema T. Medical, we are committed to achieve concrete results in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Since the Pollet Group launched its Social and Environmental Management Policy ‘Green Wave’ on 1 January 2024, we have made significant progress in our CSR approach.

Our efforts are based on our certification including ISO 14001 for environmental management since 2013, ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 13485 for the medical sector. These certifications form the basis of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and quality.

Environmental Management and Reporting

We have prepared a comprehensive environmental and carbon footprint report for 2023, detailing CO2 and water consumption data. These reports are crucial to our transparency and continuous environmental improvement.

Internal Processes and Staff Development

To fine-tune our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategies, we focused on restructuring our internal processes, especially our HR process. We developed an updated training plan for our employees, as they are essential for ensuring a sustainable and high-quality working environment.

Customer engagement and expectations

An important aspect of our approach is our direct engagement with customers. We visited several healthcare facilities to understand their expectations and requirements. This led to three key customer expectations: detailed life-cycle analyses per product range, transparency on carbon emissions from deliveries, and simple and accessible documentation. By focusing on workplace welfare, safety and training of our employees, we aim to put industrial relations and working conditions at the heart of our strategy.
